2007 Show Announcement
HIT THE GROUND
RUNNING
The Ballard High
School Marching
Band is proud to present its 2007 marching
show. “HIT
THE GROUND RUNNING” is based on
fast-paced,
supercharged,
mesmerizing music and movement.
The surprising shock and awe
of the
opening selection, called “SPEED,” instantly grabs
hold with
earth-shattering noise, hardcore velocity, in-your-face
color, and
absolutely no apologies. After the unexpected
Blitzkrieg of
“SPEED,” the next and final selection,
“ENDURANCE,”
takes off suddenly and propels the listener on a light-speed journey of
grand
and “super-heroic" proportions.
“ENDURANCE”
is very aggressive, extremely challenging, and incredibly rewarding as
it
requires and inspires all to push and drive to the end
goal.
With military precision and swiftness, HIT
THE GROUND RUNNING, ends
successfully with unparalleled speed, strength, endurance, and intense
power.
